The Sitka Sound Science Center is a nonprofit corporation, with a vision to build on Sitka’s legacy and potential as an educational and scientific community. It is the only full-service community on the outer coast of Southeast Alaska, making it uniquely qualified to provide access for programs focused on the Gulf of Alaska, Eastern Pacific Ocean, and North American Coastal Temperate Rainforests.
